Aura Materials is a company owned by Orchard Global Asset Management, specialised in recycling WEEE: waste electrical and electronic equipment. Expertise, passion, transparency and the awareness of being part of a team capable of generating new life from waste.
We produce secondary raw material from the mechanical shredding of WEEE. The process recovers copper, aluminium and iron.
In Italy, Aura has one of the most extensive facilities for the recovery of electrical and electronic material. The process is exclusively mechanical. Mills, shredders, sieves, magnets and belts regenerate second-level raw material until purity exceeds 99%.
The flagship is the Cable Line, which produces copper and aluminium from industrial cable or household appliances. Then the sorting areas, ERP1 and ERP2, and the Blue Box, one of the few machines in Europe for recovering material from screens and light bulbs.
The team that makes the difference
They work alongside the mechanical process without chemicals or heat treatments. They govern the technology that controls every step. They separate plastics from metals so each product is immediately marketable. Qualified people in the in-house laboratory check purity.
